Rangeland Health Management Workshops

Rangeland Health Management Workshops have been developed and ongoing with Nation members yearly for grazing and managing pasture health, in 2018 – 42 Nation Members participated in the workshops. Presentation by Brent Little Mustache

Objectives:

  • Educate nation members the importance of grass management for our future
  • Give the people tools, range land concepts and evaluation techniques
  • Health assessments provide an idea of sustainability and resiliency
  • Monitoring range land health can highlight the impacts of disturbance, indicate management issues, guide management changes and evaluate outcomes (positive outcomes)
