• Managing current and future environmental projects as part of the Piikani Lands Department
• Developing and implementing environmental strategies, policies, practices, and action plans to ensure a sustainable ecosystem.
• Co-ordinates all aspects of pollution control, waste management, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy to ensure compliance with environmental legislation
• Performing environmental inspections as needed
• Assisting with data analysis, writing reports, and monitoring site
• Helping with surface and groundwater sampling
• Interacting and communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary team consisting of environmental professionals, engineers, and contractors
